The School of Law, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Delhi NCR, in collaboration with the CHRIST Law Alumni Association (CLAA), is launching the 1st Christ Law Alumni International Moot Court Competition 2026. It is an international moot open to law students from universities across India and abroad, built around the practice of mooting and the mentorship network of the law school's alumni.
The competition runs in a hybrid format: online preliminary rounds on 3 and 4 August 2026, followed by offline advanced rounds at the Delhi NCR campus in Ghaziabad on 21 and 22 August 2026. It carries a total prize pool of 1,95,000 rupees.
CHRIST (Deemed to be University) is a multi-disciplinary institution headquartered in Bengaluru, with campuses including the Delhi NCR campus at Ghaziabad. It was conferred deemed university status in 2008 and is ranked among the top universities in India in the NIRF rankings.
The School of Law at the Delhi NCR campus has been operating since 2019. This moot is organised together with the CHRIST Law Alumni Association, which supports the school through mentorship, expert lectures and experiential workshops.
The competition is decided through written memorials and oral rounds.
The competition is open to law students enrolled in recognised undergraduate or postgraduate law programmes at universities in India and abroad.
The registration fee is charged in two stages.
Fees are paid through the official payment link provided by the organisers. The registration fee is non-refundable, and TDS is applicable on all prize amounts.
