2-Year LL.M. Admission 2026-27 at KSLU's Law School, Hubballi (Constitutional Law, IPR Laws, Criminal Law; Apply by 5 October)

Karnataka State Law University's Law School, Navanagar, Hubballi, is inviting applications for its two-year LL.M. programme for the academic year 2026-27. The Director of the Law School issued the admission notification on 23 September 2026. The Law School is accredited by NAAC with an 'A' Grade.

Filled application forms must reach the Law School by 5 October 2026. The list of selected candidates will be announced on 7 October 2026, and odd-semester classes begin on 15 October 2026.

Applications are invited for the two-year LL.M. in the following three specialisations:

• Constitutional Law
• Intellectual Property Rights Laws
• Criminal Law

• An LL.B. degree with at least 45% aggregate marks.
• For SC, ST and Third Gender candidates, the minimum is 40% aggregate marks.

The University's LL.M. regulations also require the law degree to be from a University established by an Act of Parliament or a State Legislature, from an equivalent national institution recognised as a Deemed to be University, or from a foreign University recognised as equivalent to an Indian University.

Candidates are selected on a merit-cum-reservation basis. Under the University's LL.M. regulations, merit is based on the marks secured in the qualifying examination, and the reservation policy of the Government of Karnataka is applied. The same regulations set a maximum intake of 20 students in each branch.

• General candidates: Rs 500
• SC and ST candidates: Rs 250

The fee is paid by Bank Challan or SBI Online Challan. The notification does not state the tuition fee. The University's LL.M. regulations say tuition and other fees are as prescribed by the University from time to time.

There is no online application. You can get the form in either of two ways:

• In person: collect it from the Office of the Karnataka State Law University's Law School, Navanagar, Hubballi-580025, after paying the application fee by Bank Challan or SBI Online Challan.
• Download: get it from the University website (kslu.karnataka.gov.in). Send the filled form, with the Bank Challan or SBI Online Challan, to The Director, KSLU's Law School, Navanagar, Hubballi-580025.

Filled forms must reach the Law School by 5 October 2026.

When checked on 27 September 2026, the University's Notifications and Circulars page listed the 2026-27 LL.M. admission notification but did not yet have a separate LL.M. application form for 2026-27. The form uploaded there in 2025 is for the previous year. If the 2026-27 form is not online, collect it from the Law School office or ask the Law School on the numbers below.
