About the Conference

The Centre for Advanced Research on Corporate and Insolvency Laws (CARCIL), Chanakya National Law University, Patna, invites original and unpublished research papers for the 4th CNLU-CARCIL National Conference on Securities Laws, 2026, held as part of the CNLU-CARCIL National Corporate Fest, 2026 (CNCF'26).

The Conference builds on its previous editions and serves as a platform for engaging with contemporary developments in India's securities and capital markets framework. It is designed to facilitate discussions on regulatory trends, market dynamics, investor protection and emerging challenges in securities law, and to assess research aptitude, analytical ability and legal reasoning in the field. The on-campus presentations are scheduled for 3 September 2026.

Two-Phase Format

The Conference is conducted in a two-phase format:

  • Phase I: Participants register through the provisional registration form, submit an original and unpublished research paper within the prescribed timeline, and pay the applicable initial registration fee.
  • Phase II: Based on evaluation, the top 8 participants qualify for the final phase and present their papers before expert panels on campus, engaging in discussions on contemporary issues in securities and capital markets law. Selected participants are required to complete further registration for the advanced rounds.

As per the official pre-invite, prizes will be awarded along with other recognitions. The pre-invite does not state prize amounts.
