The 6th International Scientific Conference on Maritime Law (ISCML 2027) is organised by the Faculty of Law, University of Split, together with the Adriatic Institute of the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts. The conference will take place from 28 April to 1 May 2027 at Hotel Briig in Split, Croatia.
ISCML brings together leading academic researchers, scholars and practitioners to exchange knowledge, experiences and research results across all aspects of maritime law, under the overarching theme Modern Challenges of Marine Navigation.
The central theme is Modern Challenges of Marine Navigation. The conference welcomes contributions on recent challenges in marine navigation and all related fields of maritime law, including (but not limited to) the safety of navigation, marine environmental protection, carriage of goods and passengers by sea, marine insurance, ports and shipping regulation, and the interaction of maritime law with emerging technologies.
The conference invites academic researchers, scholars, doctoral candidates and practitioners working in maritime and related areas of law to submit abstracts and papers for presentation.
Interested participants are invited to submit an abstract of no more than 300 words by email to iscml@split.pravst.hr. Abstracts accepted for presentation will be notified, and authors will subsequently be invited to submit full papers in accordance with the instructions for authors published on the conference website.
