The London Centre for Commercial and Financial Law (LCF) is holding the ninth edition of its Annual Conference on the Future of the Commercial Contract in Scholarship and Law Reform, at the University of Westminster in London and on Zoom. The LCF describes the series as appealing to practitioners, scholars and students.
This year's theme is the impact of international trade law on commercial contracts. According to the organiser, speakers will address contractual remedies, uniform law, the role of the WTO, aspects of typical risks and cross-border policing, and a financial law panel will deal with trade finance, including stablecoins.
The full speaker list and paper titles are on the official poster. The LCF events page notes that a draft timed schedule will follow there and is subject to change.
This is an attendance (delegate) event, not a call for papers. The organiser describes it as appealing to practitioners, scholars and students and states no nationality or membership restriction. The Zoom option lets participants in India join remotely.
Registration is required and is made through the organiser's Eventbrite page, where both the in-person and Zoom options can be booked. The organiser does not state a separate closing date for bookings, so book before the conference begins at 10:00 GMT (3:30 pm IST) on 30 October 2026.
