The Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Cell of the School of Law, Kristu Jayanti (Deemed to be University), Bengaluru, is holding Accordo, the second edition of its Inter-Institutional Mediation Competition, in hybrid mode. The preliminary rounds are held online on 15 October 2026 and the advanced rounds take place on campus in Bengaluru on 27 and 28 October 2026. The School of Law was set up in 2017 and offers five-year integrated B.A. LL.B. (H), B.Com LL.B. (H) and B.B.A. LL.B. (H) programmes and an LL.M. Its ADR Cell runs mediation competitions, workshops, ADR summits and expert sessions for law students.
Accommodation details are shared with teams that qualify for the advanced rounds, who apply through a Google Form circulated by the organisers. Dormitory accommodation costs Rs 112 per participant per night, with separate arrangements for women and men; it is not offered to teams from within Bengaluru. The Central Campus at K. Narayanapura, Kothanur, is about 25 km from Kempegowda International Airport, about 11 km from Krishnarajapuram (K R Puram) railway station and about 10 km from Baiyappanahalli Metro (Purple Line).
The total cash prize pool is Rs 75,000, shared among the best mediating pair, the best mediator and the runners-up in each, as listed in the prizes section. Under the rules, awards consist of a cash prize, a trophy and a certificate of merit. Participation certificates are issued to all participants.
