The journal is open access, charges no submission or publication fee, and is UGC approved. The submission window for Volume 22 closes on 31 August 2026.
Amity Law Review is published by Amity Law School at Amity University, Sector 125, Noida. It carries ISSN 2249-2232 and has been ranked 8 by NLSIU among Indian law journals. The journal follows a double blind peer review process and runs every submission through plagiarism detection software at the first stage of review.
ALR welcomes contributions across the full spectrum of law, including constitutional, civil, criminal, corporate, arbitration, cyber, and intellectual property law, as well as emerging and contemporary legal debates. Being open access, accepted work is made freely available to readers worldwide.
The journal accepts the following categories of original, unpublished work:
Longer submissions may be accepted where editorially justified. Every submission must be accompanied by an abstract of around 200 to 250 words outlining the central themes, along with up to 5 keywords. A maximum of two co-authors is permitted per submission.
The journal seeks contributions from academicians, professionals and jurists. Law students and research scholars working on original legal scholarship are also encouraged to submit, subject to meeting the quality and formatting standards below.
Headings follow a clear hierarchy: Level 1 is 12pt bold centered, Level 2 is 12pt bold left aligned, and Level 3 is 12pt italic left aligned.
Amity Law Review uses its own footnote citation style, developed with reference to OSCOLA and the Bluebook 20th Edition. All references must appear as footnotes, not endnotes.
All work submitted must be original and the author's own. Plagiarism and self plagiarism (reusing identical content across multiple papers) are not permitted, and submissions found to contain such content are liable to be rejected. Every submission is screened with plagiarism detection software at the first stage of review. Content borrowed from other sources must be fully referenced and acknowledged. A copyright form and a declaration of originality form are required upon acceptance.
Because review is double blind, the manuscript itself must not carry any identifying information. Authors should mention their names, contact details and affiliations only on a separate cover page.
Every submission undergoes a thorough, objective and confidential double blind peer review. The journal is open access with no fee charged for publication. Copyright in published work rests with Amity Education Group, Uttar Pradesh, and published content is made freely available to readers.
Prepare your manuscript per the formatting and citation rules above, with author details placed only on a separate cover page. Email your submission, abstract and cover page to alsdpublications@amity.edu on or before 31 August 2026. There is no submission or publication fee.
