Amity University Chhattisgarh is a private state university at Raipur, part of the Amity network run by the Ritnand Balved Education Foundation. The Amity Summit - Model United Nations (MUN) 2026 is organised by its Amity School of Communication (ASCO) and will be held on the university's Raipur campus at Math (Kharora), on the NH-130B Raipur-Baloda Bazar road.
The organisers describe the Amity Summit as an immersive diplomatic conference built around the working principles of the United Nations, under the tagline "Debate. Diplomacy. Leadership. Impact." Over two days delegates sit in committee sessions, negotiate on the assigned agenda, draft resolutions and work through the usual MUN skills of public speaking, caucusing and consensus-building. The stated aim is to give participants practice in policy deliberation and cross-cultural negotiation rather than to run a purely competitive circuit event.
The summit is open to school and college students; there is no requirement that a delegate be from a law programme or from Amity. Note that the organiser's two documents state different age bands - the official poster on the Amity events portal says 11 to 21 years, while the summit brochure says 14 to 23 years. Anyone near either boundary should confirm with the coordinators before paying, since the organisers have not reconciled the discrepancy. The registration form asks whether you are currently associated with Amity University and whether you are registering as a student or as faculty or staff, so both categories are accepted.
Beyond the awards, the organisers list a set of benefits that go to every registered delegate: free pre-conference training, participation certificates, letters of recommendation and excellence, an executive board committed to fair marking and mentorship, two days of socials and informal spaces, and the chance to network with participants from across India.
Registration is entirely online through Amity University's own events portal. Open the delegate form, indicate whether you are associated with Amity University, choose Student or Faculty/Staff, pick one committee preference from the drop-down, then fill in your name, email, contact number, class or year, institution, age, state, city and the number of MUNs you have previously attended (write N/A if this is your first). Accept the declaration and complete the payment. Hostel accommodation is booked separately on the accommodation form linked below. The organisers have not published a registration cut-off date; the portal is open at the time of writing, and committee seats are allotted as registrations come in, so apply well before 19 September 2026.
