Analyst, Data Privacy at Deloitte, Mumbai [1-2 Yrs Experience]

Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu India LLP (Deloitte India) is hiring an Analyst for its Cyber - Data Privacy & Trust (DPT) practice, based in Mumbai. The role sits within Deloitte's Risk Advisory / Cyber team and focuses on advising clients on building and operating privacy programmes aligned with global and Indian data protection regulations. This is a full-time, onsite position posted on 19 July 2026 (Requisition ID 106907).

• Design and implement privacy programmes aligned with global and Indian regulations.
• Conduct Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs), Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and gap assessments.
• Develop privacy frameworks, policies and procedures.
• Advise on privacy-by-design integration, cross-border data transfers and consent management.
• Lead client workshops and training sessions.
• Mentor junior team members.

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Information Technology or a related field.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in data privacy, data protection or cybersecurity advisory.
• Working knowledge of privacy regulations and standards including GDPR, India's DPDP Act, CCPA, ISO 27701 and the NIST Privacy Framework.
• Experience conducting privacy impact assessments and gap assessments.
• Preferred certifications: CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT or DPO certification.
• Strong stakeholder management and client delivery skills.
