Assistant Professor (Computer Science/Cyber Security) at NLIU Bhopal (Walk-in, 2 posts)

The National Law Institute University (NLIU), Bhopal is inviting eligible candidates to a walk-in interview for the post of Assistant Professor (Computer Science/Cyber Security) on a contractual basis. This is a teaching position covering cryptography and network security, security architecture and models, and identity and access management, as well as data communications.

There are two (2) posts, and the walk-in interview is scheduled for 7 July 2026 at 10:00 AM at the university campus in Bhopal. (Appointment Notification No. 02 of 2026.)

NLIU Bhopal is one of India's premier National Law Universities, established by the State of Madhya Pradesh under the National Law Institute University Act, 1997. Located on Kerwa Dam Road, it is a leading centre for legal education and interdisciplinary research, including cyber law and technology.

As Assistant Professor (Computer Science/Cyber Security), you will teach and support coursework across areas such as:

• Cryptography and network security
• Security architecture and models
• Identity and access management
• Data communications

The engagement is on a contractual basis.

You are eligible if you meet the UGC norms for the post:

• A Master's degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade) in a concerned/relevant/allied subject from an Indian university, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
• You must have cleared the NET conducted by the UGC or CSIR, or a similar test accredited by the UGC, like SLET/SET.
• Candidates holding a Ph.D. degree in accordance with the UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016, are exempt from the NET/SLET/SET requirement.
• NET/SLET/SET is also not required for subjects in which these tests are not conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar bodies.

The post carries a consolidated monthly salary of Rs. 84,000/-.

Please note: no Travel Allowance (TA) or Dearness Allowance (DA) will be paid for attending the interview.

This is a walk-in interview – there is no separate online application. Attend in person on 7 July 2026 (Tuesday) at the National Law Institute University, Kerwa Dam Road, Bhopal.
