Assistant Professor (Computer Science/Cyber Security) on Contract at NLIU Bhopal (Rs 84,000/month; Walk-in Interview on 4 August 2026)

The National Law Institute University (NLIU), Bhopal is a national law university established by the Madhya Pradesh Act No. 41 of 1997, substituted by Act No. 6 of 2018. Its campus is on Kerwa Dam Road, Bhopal - 462 044, Madhya Pradesh.

NLIU Bhopal has issued a Recruitment Notification (Ref. No. 1827/NLIUB dated 24 July 2026; Appointment Notification No. 03 of 2026) inviting applications from eligible candidates possessing the requisite academic qualifications for one faculty position on a contractual basis. Selection is through a walk-in interview, and there is no separate online or postal application route.

01 Assistant Professor (on contract basis) - Computer Science/Cyber Security.

The notification lists the following areas:

• Cryptography and Network Security
• Security Architecture and Models
• Identity and Access Management
• Data Communications, etc.

The appointment is on a contractual basis with a consolidated monthly salary of Rs 84,000/-.

• A Master's degree with 55% marks or its equivalent in a concerned/relevant/allied subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
• Besides the above, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR, or a similar test accredited by the UGC such as SLET/SET; or must be or have been awarded a Ph.D. degree in accordance with the UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016 and their amendments from time to time, as the case may be, and is therefore exempted from NET/SLET/SET.
• The notification records that NET/SLET/SET shall also not be required for such Master's programmes in disciplines for which NET/SLET/SET is not conducted by the UGC, CSIR or a similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET.

Interested and eligible candidates have to report for a walk-in interview on 04 August 2026 (Tuesday) at 10:00 a.m. at the National Law Institute University, Kerwa Dam Road, Bhopal.

Candidates reporting after 10:30 a.m. will not be allowed entry. No TA/DA shall be paid to candidates.

There is no online or postal application. Candidates must appear in person at the walk-in interview with a duly filled Application Form, which is printed as part of the recruitment notification PDF (Appointment Notification No. 03 of 2026).

• Carry the completed application form with a recent attested passport-size photograph pasted on it.
• Carry originals and one set of self-attested copies of educational qualification and experience certificates in support of the claims made.
• Sign the declaration at the end of the application form.

Candidates who appeared in the walk-in interview held earlier on 07 July 2026 for the above position shall not be eligible to apply against this notification.
