SVKM’s NMIMS Deemed to be University has an open requisition for an Assistant Professor in Law at its School of Law on the Chandigarh campus. • A Master’s Degree in a related discipline with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade or Cumulative Grade Point Average on a defined scale, with a good academic record.
• The candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, or a SLET/SET accredited by the UGC.

Without prejudice to the essential qualifications, the advertisement lists the following as desirable:

• A Ph.D. (preferred) with 2 years of experience.
• At least two papers based on the candidate’s Ph.D. work presented at conferences or seminars sponsored, funded or supported by the UGC, ICSSR, CSIR or a similar agency.
• Published work of high quality and active engagement in research, with evidence of publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals. Published work may include books, research periodicals, Ph.D. guidance, consultancy projects and patents filed.
