Assistant Prosecution Officer at Home Department, Rajasthan [371 Posts]

The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has released a recruitment notification for the post of Assistant Prosecution Officer (APO) under the Directorate of Prosecution, Home Department, Government of Rajasthan.

This is a large-scale legal recruitment with a total of 371 vacancies under Advertisement No. 03/EXAM/APO/EP-I/2026-27, dated 27 May 2026. The online application window is currently open and closes on 7 July 2026.

A total of 371 posts are available, distributed as follows:

• Non-Scheduled Area (TSP): 355 posts
• Scheduled Area (TSP): 16 posts

Pay Scale: Pay Matrix Level L-11 (Grade Pay Rs. 4,200).

Candidates must satisfy the following requirements:

• Educational Qualification: A degree in Law (Professional) or an integrated Law course from a University established by law in India.
• Working knowledge of Hindi written in Devanagari script and knowledge of Rajasthani dialects and the social customs of Rajasthan.
• Age: 21 to 40 years as on 1 January 2027, with category-wise relaxations as per rules.

• General (Unreserved) / Backward Class (Creamy Layer) / MBC (Creamy Layer): Rs. 600
• SC / ST / BC-NCL / MBC-NCL / EWS of Rajasthan and PwBD candidates: Rs. 400
