Associate at Saga Legal, Bangalore (1-2 yrs PQE, Litigation)

Saga Legal is hiring an Associate for its Bengaluru office. This is a full-time, in-office litigation role for lawyers with 1-2 years of post-qualification experience who are comfortable handling matters independently before Bangalore courts. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.

Saga Legal is a full-service Indian law firm established in 2016, with practice spanning dispute resolution and corporate advisory work. The firm operates offices in New Delhi (Okhla Industrial Area Phase 3 and a Supreme Court chamber), Bengaluru (HAL 3rd Stage, Indiranagar) and Mumbai (New Marine Lines).

As an Associate in the litigation team, you will be expected to:

• Conduct detailed legal research across civil, commercial and criminal matters
• Draft pleadings, applications and other court documents
• Manage case timelines and ensure procedural compliance
• Appear before courts in Bangalore
• Handle multiple matters independently

You should have:

• 1-2 years of experience in civil, commercial and/or criminal litigation
• Strong drafting and legal research skills
• A working knowledge of Bangalore court procedures
• Proficiency in Kannada, spoken and written (preferred)
• Proficiency in MS Word and a basic understanding of MS Excel
• The ability to manage several matters at once

This is a full-time, offline role based at Saga Legal's Bengaluru office. The compensation has not been disclosed in the posting.
