BITS Law School, Mumbai, founded under the aegis of BITS Pilani, has opened applications for its two five-year integrated honours programmes, the B.A. LL.B. (Hons) and the B.B.A. LL.B. (Hons). The school's admission process page lists the application window as 14 September 2026 to 5 January 2027. The programmes are recognised and approved by the Bar Council of India, and the school states an intake of 120 students for the B.A. LL.B. (Hons) and 60 for the B.B.A. LL.B. (Hons).
The campus is fully residential and is located in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, at Kalyan-Murbad Road, Village Kamba, Pawshepada, Taluka Kalyan, District Thane.
The school's application page lists five specialisations:
Applicants still awaiting their final grade 12 or entrance test results may apply and must indicate in the form that they are awaiting results. An application is considered complete only once all relevant scores have been shared.
The school evaluates academic performance, the entrance test score, co-curricular achievements and communication skills. All accepted entrance test scores are benchmarked against each other; where more than one score is submitted, the best is considered. Only complete applications are evaluated, and the timelines are subject to change at the school's discretion.
Taking the school's own test is optional. It is an online, proctored, 60-minute test of 70 multiple-choice questions with no negative marking, covering attention to detail, reasoning ability, verbal ability and domain ability. Candidates opt for it in the Entrance Test Details section of the application form; after submission a test link appears on the dashboard and the test must be taken within 96 hours (4 days). A laptop or computer with a working webcam and a stable internet connection is required.
A non-refundable application fee of INR 2,000 is payable at the time of application submission. The school's fees page lists, for Year 1, a tuition fee of INR 7,37,100 and a residential fee of INR 2,40,000 (total INR 9,77,100), subject to an annual increase of up to 8%; fee payment is as per the offer letter. The fees page also states that a one-time admission fee of INR 75,000 is collected at the time of accepting the offer of admission and is adjusted against the Year 1 tuition fee, and that a refundable security deposit of INR 20,000 is collected with the Year 1 tuition fee and refunded after convocation. The residential fee covers housing and access to the sports facility only; meals and laundry are excluded. The cost of books and other learning materials is additional. Check the fees page for the current figures before applying.
The fees page also describes a Merit and Means Based Scholarship (tuition fee waiver of up to 90%, family income not above INR 18,00,000), an Academic Merit Scholarship (up to 75%) and a Diversity Scholarship (up to 75%). Scholarships are open to Indian citizens, and early applicants are considered first, subject to availability of funds.
