The Centre for Criminology, Criminal Justice and Forensic Science (CCCJFS) at Maharashtra National Law University, Nagpur is organising a National Conference on Reimagining the Organ Transplantation Regime in India on 29 and 30 October 2026. The conference seeks to critically appraise the evolution of India's organ transplantation regime since the Transplantation of Human Organs Act, 1994, including the 2011 amendments, the 2014 Rules, the National Organ Transplant Program, recent legislative updates such as the 2025 amendment on corneal centres, and High Court mandates on authorisation committees and digital alerts.
The brochure describes the conference as being in hybrid mode, and states that the Technical Sessions for paper presentation on 29-30 October 2026 will be held in online (virtual) mode.

Academicians, legal practitioners, medical professionals, research scholars and students are invited to submit abstracts and present research papers. Co-authorship is permitted up to two authors, and each co-author must register separately.
Payment of the registration fee is mandatory for all authors except MNLU Nagpur students. The fee can be paid online through SBI Collect.
The brochure announces a prize pool of Rs 11,000. Selected papers will be published in the form of an edited book.

Step 2: register (each co-author separately) through the registration form by 22 October 2026, choosing your theme, and pay the fee via SBI Collect.
