The Chanakya Centre for Alternative Dispute Resolution (CCADR) was established at Chanakya National Law University, Patna in 2021, with the objective of promoting academic research on themes pertaining to the resolution of disputes.
The CCADR Blog invites original and unpublished submissions that engage critically with emerging trends and developments in the ADR legal framework, including arbitration, mediation, conciliation and negotiation. Submissions are accepted on a rolling basis throughout the year.
The Centre invites submissions from academicians, legal practitioners, research scholars and students.
The organisers ask for thoughtful, analytical and well-researched contributions that contribute to building future discourse in the area. Analytical posts are preferred over descriptive ones, and purely descriptive pieces are unlikely to be accepted.
Note that CCADR sets a separate, explicit AI ceiling in addition to the similarity ceiling, so both need to be checked before submitting.
CCADR follows a peer-review system by its Blog Editors, on a rolling basis. Contributors must work with the Editors to incorporate suggested revisions and comments.
Upon acceptance, manuscripts may be returned to the authors with suggestions on substance and/or style. Manuscripts incorporating suggestions shall be accepted for publication, contingent on the final decision of the Review Board.
Posts are considered on relevance, quality, structure, logic and writing style. Submissions not conforming to the guidelines are subject to rejection, and decisions of the Review Board are binding. Given the large volume of submissions, the Editors may not be able to provide feedback on each rejected submission.
Copyright over the manuscripts vests with CCADR; however, all moral rights vest with the author. At no time will CCADR use the submission for commercial use without notice to the authors or without attributing to them.
CCADR does not cross-post from other websites. Cross-posting to another website can be done subject to the express permission of the Review Board. At all stages of review, the Review Board reserves the right to amend or waive any guideline, and to reject or revoke publication.
Manuscripts must be submitted through the official Google Form linked below. Submissions made by any other route will lead to rejection, so do not email the manuscript.
The form collects the name, university, year of study, contact number and email of each author (up to two), plus the manuscript upload (maximum 10 MB). Note that the form requires you to be signed in to a Google account, as it records your email with the response.
Any correspondence and queries regarding submission should be made to editorial.ccadr@cnlu.ac.in.
