The Collective for Environmental Action (CEA), the student body operating under National Law University Delhi's Centre for Environmental Law, Policy and Research (CELPR), invites you to contribute to its CEA Blog. The blog focuses on environmental law and policy, with special emphasis on the emerging discourse around climate change. Submissions are accepted on a rolling basis, so you can send in your piece whenever it is ready.
If you care about how the law is responding to environmental and climate challenges, this is a welcoming, openly accessible platform from one of India's premier law schools to get your writing read and engaged with.
National Law University, Delhi (NLU Delhi) is one of India's premier law schools, located in Sector-14, Dwarka, New Delhi. Established in 2008, it is known for its academic rigour and consistently ranks among the top law institutions in the country in the NIRF rankings.
The Centre for Environment Law, Policy and Research (CELPR), established in August 2016, promotes legal education, research and extension activities in the field of environmental law. It aims to support academic and policy-oriented dialogue that leads to critical insights and constructive outcomes in environmental law.
The Collective for Environmental Action (CEA), launched under the aegis of the Centre, gives the student body an avenue to channel their efforts on environmental issues, with special emphasis on policy and climate change. The Collective raises awareness through regular reading circles and the CEA blog, among other activities.
There is no bar on the themes of the submitted pieces. While the blog is centred on environmental law and policy, it also welcomes interdisciplinary work that cuts across multiple streams, so that authors from varied backgrounds can contribute and readers are exposed to a wider array of perspectives. You can write on themes as varied as:
The blog invites contributions from the student body. Because the blog deliberately does not want to be exclusionary about the academic or vocational background of authors, students and researchers across disciplines who can write on environment-related subject matter are encouraged to submit. Co-authorship of up to two authors is allowed and encouraged.
There is no submission or publication fee. Accepted pieces are published on the CEA blog, giving you a public, citable platform hosted under a recognised NLU centre to share your work on environmental law and climate policy.
Submissions must be made only by filling in the official Google Form. Submissions made through any other medium will be summarily rejected. Use the registration/submission link on this page to access the form.
