Call for Blogs: Centre for Competition Law & Policy (CCLP), NUALS Kochi [Rolling Submissions; 1500-1800 Words]

The Centre for Competition Law and Policy (CCLP) is a research centre of the National University of Advanced Legal Studies, Kochi. It was set up because competition policy is a critical component of the overall economic policy framework of every country, and because the Competition Act, 2002 made research, surveys and the spread of knowledge among stakeholders a live need.

The Centre's stated vision is to encourage study and research in competition law and policy, to disseminate ideas through a network of regulators, academicians, practitioners, industry experts and students, to run capacity-building initiatives in the discipline, and to give students a platform to interact with experts in this developing field of law.

CCLP accepts submissions to its Blog on a rolling basis throughout the year. There is no cut-off date and no themed window; the Centre asks only that manuscripts be restricted to the scope of the blog, that is, competition law.

All submissions must be made through the Google Form linked by the Centre. Submissions sent by any other route are not part of the stated process.

• Word count: 1500 to 1800 words.
• The title of the manuscript must not exceed ten words.

• Font: Times New Roman.
• Font size: 12.
• Line spacing: 1.5.
• All submissions must be in .docx format. PDF submissions are not accepted.

Use hyperlinks for citations. Where a footnote is necessary, follow the Bluebook (21st edition).

Co-authorship by up to two authors is permitted.

Submissions must be original work and must not have been published, or be under consideration for publication, elsewhere.

Every submission goes through a plagiarism check and an AI check. If the work is found to be unoriginal it is rejected. The maximum plagiarism permitted is 10 per cent.

The Editorial Board reserves the right to reject any work during the review process if it is found to be unoriginal or if it does not meet the standards set by the Board. CCLP reserves all rights over the submissions.

The Centre states no submission fee, processing fee or publication charge for the blog.
