Call for Blogs: Centre of Excellence on Cyber Law and AI Governance and Ethics, NUSRL Ranchi

The Centre of Excellence on Cyber Law and Artificial Intelligence Governance and Ethics at the National University of Study and Research in Law (NUSRL), Ranchi invites blog submissions on contemporary issues in cyber law and artificial intelligence. The call seeks well-researched, analytical and accessible contributions that engage with the fast-evolving intersection of technology, law and ethics. The last date for submission is 20 August 2026.

The Centre of Excellence on Cyber Law and Artificial Intelligence Governance and Ethics operates at NUSRL, Ranchi and focuses on academic research, policy engagement and informed discourse in cyber jurisprudence and technology ethics. The Centre engages academicians, technology practitioners, policymakers and industry stakeholders to build a rigorous, multidisciplinary conversation around cyber law and AI governance. Its blog platform is intended to be a space for timely commentary and analysis on emerging legal and ethical questions raised by digital technologies.

The blog welcomes contributions on the broad themes of cyber law and artificial intelligence governance and ethics. Interdisciplinary submissions that connect cyber law and AI with public policy, economics, sociology, management, computer science and human rights are especially encouraged. The indicative sub-topics below are illustrative and not exhaustive; authors may propose closely related contemporary issues.

The call is open to students, academicians, researchers, legal practitioners, policymakers, technology professionals and other interested individuals. Interdisciplinary submissions from contributors across law, technology, policy and allied fields are encouraged.

• Submissions must be original and unpublished, and must not be under consideration for publication elsewhere.
• Proper acknowledgement of all sources is mandatory.
• Any form of plagiarism or unethical academic conduct, including the undisclosed use of AI-generated text, will lead to rejection.
• Manuscripts must be submitted in Microsoft Word format (.doc / .docx).
• Font: Times New Roman, size 12.
• Line spacing: 1.5.
• Alignment: Justified.
• Margins: 1 inch on all sides.
• Hyperlinks should be used wherever possible and excessive footnoting should be avoided.
• Where citations are necessary, authors should follow the latest edition of the OSCOLA Citation Style.

There is no fee for submitting to the blog. Participation is free of cost.

Authors whose submissions are accepted become eligible for a free certificate course on Cyber Law, which is supported by Google. This benefit is extended on successful acceptance of a blog submission.

Manuscripts are to be submitted by email with the subject line "Submission for Blog - [Title of Manuscript]". The email body should include a brief author biography, contact number and institutional affiliation. Authors may address their submissions and any queries to the convenors listed in the contact section, using their official NUSRL email addresses.
