Call for Book Chapters: Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Law and Digital Governance (Edited Volume with ISBN)

Dr. Rohini Kanta Barua Law College is a law college at Dibrugarh, Assam, affiliated to Dibrugarh University, approved by the Bar Council of India and recognised under Sections 2(f) and 12(B) of the UGC Act. It began in 1976 as Dibrugarh Law College, following a public meeting of the citizens of Dibrugarh, and today runs the three-year LL.B. and the five-year BBA LL.B. programmes.

The college is compiling a multidisciplinary edited volume titled ‘Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Law and Digital Governance: Emerging Legal Challenges in the Digital Era’. The book examines how artificial intelligence, cyberspace and digital governance are reshaping legal doctrine and regulatory practice, drawing on legal, technological, social, economic and policy perspectives.

The volume will be published with an ISBN. Chapters go through a double-blind peer review, and final acceptance rests with the editorial team. Publication is estimated for August 2027.

The call is addressed to academicians and to research scholars and students, and the publication fee is set separately for each of those two groups. Because the volume is deliberately multidisciplinary, contributions are welcome from beyond law wherever the work speaks to the themes listed above.

• The work must be original and unpublished, and relevant to one of the themes or sub-themes.
• Chapter length: 3,000 to 5,000 words, including tables and figures.
• Language: English. Citation and reference style: APA 7th edition.
• All submissions are screened for plagiarism and must fall below 10% similarity.
• Everything is to be submitted in MS Word format.
• Authors sign a copyright declaration after acceptance.

• Font: Times New Roman, 12 point; footnotes in Times New Roman, 10 point.
• Line spacing 1.5, margins of 1 inch on all sides, justified alignment, page numbers bottom centre.
• Structure: title of the chapter; author name, affiliation and email; abstract of 250 to 300 words; 5 to 6 keywords; main text covering introduction, objectives, methodology, results, discussion and conclusion; references.

The publication fee is Rs 800 for academicians and Rs 500 for research scholars and students. The brochure does not state a separate charge at the abstract stage.

Abstracts are submitted through the Google Form linked in the brochure and under Important Links, by 30 November 2026.
