Overview

You are invited to contribute a chapter to an edited volume titled "Arbitration and Mediation in Commercial Matters: Emerging Research Gaps in India". As commercial transactions and cross-border trade continue to grow, so does the need for efficient dispute resolution, and arbitration and mediation have become vital tools thanks to their flexibility, confidentiality, and time efficiency.

This volume aims to explore contemporary issues, emerging trends, and practical challenges in arbitration and mediation in commercial matters, fostering academic and practical discourse on the future of commercial dispute resolution in India and beyond. Best of all, there is no publication fee.

About the editors

The volume is being put together by three editors with strong academic backgrounds in corporate and commercial law:

  • Dr. Priyanka Taktawala - Assistant Professor of Law (Corporate) at Karnavati University; LL.M. (gold medal) from GNLU and B.B.A. LL.B. (Hons., gold medal) from Nirma University; author and editor of several books.
  • Dr. Amrit Subhadarshi - Corporate law scholar with over eight years in academia; LL.M. from NLU Odisha and Ph.D. from KIIT School of Law.
  • Adv. Vyomesh Warunjikar - Mumbai-based legal scholar and practitioner specialising in commercial and constitutional law; LL.M. (Constitutional Law) from IIULER, Goa, and a doctoral research scholar there.
