About the Edited Book

The editors at the Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies - Technical Campus (VIPS-TC), Delhi, invite original chapter contributions for an edited book titled 'Employment Law and Human Resource Management: Legal Compliance, Workplace Behaviour and Organizational Effectiveness'. The book examines the intersection of employment law, human resource management, and organizational behaviour, bringing together academic scholarship and professional practice in a single interdisciplinary volume.

It is edited by Dr. Shefali Sachdeva (Assistant Professor, VIPS-TC, Delhi) and Dr. Richa Srivastava (Assistant Professor, VIPS-TC, Delhi). Contributions are welcomed from across law, management, and allied disciplines, offering both doctrinal and applied perspectives on the modern workplace.

Who Can Submit

The call is open to a broad range of contributors, including academicians, researchers, legal experts, HR professionals, industrial relations specialists, policymakers, corporate leaders, and research scholars and students. Co-authored chapters are permitted.

Submission Process

Interested authors should first submit an abstract of 150 to 200 words to the editorial email editedbooklawshrm@gmail.com. Shortlisted authors will be notified and invited to submit the full chapter. All submissions undergo editorial review and plagiarism screening, and acceptance depends on quality, originality, and relevance. The editors retain the right to accept, reject, or request revisions on any submission.

Manuscript and Formatting Guidelines

  • Abstract: 150 to 200 words
  • Full chapter: 4,000 to 6,000 words
  • Language: English
  • Font and spacing: Times New Roman, 12 pt, 1.5 line spacing
  • Citation style: APA 7th Edition
  • Similarity: plagiarism below 10%
  • Content: original, unpublished work only

Processing Charges

Processing charges are payable only after a chapter is accepted:

  • Single author: Rs 800
  • Each additional co-author: Rs 600

No fee is charged at the abstract stage.

Publication

Accepted chapters will be published in the edited book 'Employment Law and Human Resource Management: Legal Compliance, Workplace Behaviour and Organizational Effectiveness'. The volume offers contributors a peer-reviewed platform to share research and practice at the intersection of employment law and human resource management.
