The School of Law, DY Patil University, Navi Mumbai, in collaboration with the Asian Law Schools Association (ALSA) Law and Technology Chapter, invites submissions for the 2026 ALSA Law and Technology Conference, to be held from 11 to 13 December 2026 on the DY Patil University campus in Navi Mumbai.
The conference is built around the central theme "Technology Governance or Technology Government?", with a dedicated symposium asking "Addressing the IT to AI journey: is there an effective regulator?" It aims to bring together students, teachers, policymakers, and jurists for an interdisciplinary conversation on how law and technology shape one another.
The School of Law at DY Patil University, Navi Mumbai is part of a recognised deemed-to-be university. For this conference it partners with the Asian Law Schools Association (ALSA) Law and Technology Chapter, a regional network of law schools advancing scholarship across Asia.

Submissions are open to participants globally, including students, academics, policymakers, and practitioners. Interdisciplinary collaboration is encouraged.

Selected full papers will be considered for publication in a special edition of Law, Technology and Humans (LTH), an international, open-access, peer-reviewed journal supported by the Humans Technology Law Centre at Queensland University of Technology, Australia, and indexed in Scopus, DOAJ, AustLII, and EBSCO.
