Stetson University College of Law's Institute for Biodiversity Law and Policy will host the 23rd International Wildlife Law Conference (IWLC-23) on 14 April 2027 at its Gulfport, Florida campus (USA). The conference will begin with a field excursion and welcome reception on 13 April 2027, and will conclude with the opening of the 31st Annual Stetson International Environmental Moot Court Competition, taking place 15-17 April 2027.
Presentations on a wide variety of international wildlife law topics are welcome, with a particular interest in aquatic species and/or evolving environmental principles. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
The call is addressed to legal scholars, practitioners, policymakers and scientists working in wildlife conservation. It is an open international call; it does not restrict submissions by country.
Submit a proposed presentation topic description (limit 300 words) along with a CV or resume. The online form asks for your name, email, address and institution or organisation (optional), and whether you would be interested in learning more about publishing your work. Files are uploaded through the form (maximum file size 10 MB).
Submissions are accepted on a rolling basis, with priority consideration given to submissions received by 2 November 2026. The deadline shown on this post is that priority date.
