Call for Papers: 5th Insolvency Scholars Forum (ISF) Meeting 2027

The Insolvency Scholars Forum (ISF) is an initiative of the Insolvency Law Academy (ILA), a recognised body dedicated to the study and advancement of insolvency and restructuring law in India. The Forum brings together established scholars from India and abroad to present and discuss original research.

The 5th ISF Meeting will be held alongside the 5th ILA Annual Conference at the Neemrana Fort-Palace, Rajasthan, from 12 to 14 March 2027. The Forum invites submissions of original and unpublished research papers addressing contemporary issues in insolvency and restructuring.

• Reimagining the role of courts, tribunals and judges in the insolvency process
• Insolvency of natural persons, small enterprises, and consumer debt default
• Group insolvency of multinational corporations
• Turnaround as the focus of hybrid restructuring mechanisms
• Approaches to insolvency in enterprises operating in complex sectors of the economy

Interested scholars should submit a one-page abstract of up to 400 words, accompanied by a short bio of about 200 words, describing the proposed paper. Contributions on related topics in insolvency and restructuring are also welcome.

There is no membership fee for joining the ISF and no submission fee for responding to this call for papers.
