AI, Law, Politics: An Interdisciplinary Journal on Human-AI Interaction in Legal and Political Systems is an international, peer-reviewed, Diamond Open Access journal owned and published by VIZJA University, Warsaw, Poland. Established in 2025 (e-ISSN / ISSN-L 3072-1229), it is published online only, in English, with two regular issues a year in June and December. Editor-in-Chief: Dr Habil. Yan Kapranov, VIZJA University Professor; Co-Editor-in-Chief: Dr Dawid Stadniczeńko.
General submissions are open on a rolling basis and there is no closing date for regular-issue manuscripts. Accepted papers are assigned to the next appropriate available issue; submission does not reserve a place in a particular issue. No Special Issue or Thematic Collection call is currently open.
The journal welcomes scholarship on law, politics, rights, accountability and governance across three strands:
AI is not mandatory. Suggested subjects include courts and parliaments, AI regulation and algorithmic accountability, elections and information integrity, fundamental rights, data protection and surveillance, AI-assisted legislation and adjudication, and comparative or jurisdiction-specific approaches.
Limits cover the main text and footnotes, including spaces. Research, review, conceptual, case-study, policy and commentary pieces undergo double-blind review by at least two independent external experts.
No fees at any stage: no submission fee, Article Processing Charge, publication, page or colour charge, or withdrawal fee. Articles are published under CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 and authors retain copyright. Peer-reviewed articles receive a DOI. The journal states that it does not authorise any agent or third party to collect money on its behalf.
Register or sign in on the journal's OJS platform and submit through the official submission page, completing all contributor, abstract, keyword and reference metadata.
