The Comparative Constitutional Law and Administrative Law Journal (CALJ), ISSN 2582-9807, is the flagship peer-reviewed journal of the Centre for Comparative Constitutional Law and Administrative Law (CCAL), established under the patronage of the Vice Chancellor of National Law University, Jodhpur. The journal is published bi-annually and is guided by an Advisory Board that includes former CJI M.N. Venkatachaliah, Senior Advocate Rajeev Dhawan, Senior Advocate Dr. Menaka Guruswamy and Professor Timothy Endicott, among others.
The Journal seeks to promote rigorous academic engagement with contemporary developments in Constitutional Law and Administrative Law. While rooted in the Indian constitutional and administrative framework, it equally welcomes submissions adopting comparative, transnational and global perspectives on constitutionalism, governance, rights, institutions, public law, judicial review and democratic accountability.
Submissions may engage with doctrinal, theoretical, empirical, historical or interdisciplinary approaches, provided they fall broadly within the fields of Constitutional Law and Administrative Law.
Word limits exclude footnotes, except where speaking footnotes are used. A manuscript may have a maximum of two authors (except Book Reviews and Case Comments).
The Journal is peer-reviewed and all submissions undergo evaluation by subject-matter experts. Submissions are also screened for plagiarism; a similarity score above 10% results in summary rejection. Copyright in the published work vests with the Journal upon publication.
Submissions for Volume 10, Issue II must be made via the official Google Form by 11:59 PM (IST), 25 July 2026. Receipt of the manuscript and editorial decisions will be communicated via the email address used for submission.
