Ho Chi Minh City University of Law (HCMULAW), Vietnam, has announced an International Scientific Conference on “Legal Frameworks Governing Digital Assets in Selected Regional Jurisdictions”, to be held on 14–15 December 2026 at the university’s campus in Ho Chi Minh City. Against the backdrop of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and the rapid expansion of the digital economy, the conference aims to provide an international academic forum for exchanging legislative experiences and discussing legal and regulatory approaches to digital assets.
The call notes that the emergence of various forms of digital assets has given rise to a wide range of novel legal issues. Papers are invited on the legal frameworks governing digital assets across regional jurisdictions, including questions arising from:
The Organizing Committee invites academics, researchers, lecturers, doctoral candidates, graduate students, legal practitioners, policymakers, and all interested scholars to submit papers and participate in academic discussions on emerging issues relating to the legal frameworks governing digital assets in the context of digital transformation and international integration.
Selected papers will be considered for publication in an international academic journal or an edited scholarly volume published by a reputable publisher following the conference.
