Geeta Institute of Law (GIL) is situated on NH-44 (formerly NH-1), G.T. Road, Panipat, Haryana, about fifty minutes from Delhi. Established in 2007, the Institute is affiliated with Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra and is approved by the Bar Council of India. Its brochure records that GIL has been ranked 2nd among the Top Outstanding Law Schools of Excellence in India by CSR, 3rd among the Top Law Colleges of Haryana by India Today, 18th among the Top Outstanding Law Schools of Excellence in India by GHRDC, 25th among the Top Law Schools in India by Outlook, 36th among the Top Law Schools in India by India Today, and 47th among the Top Law Colleges in India by IIRF.
The Institute follows a student-centric and practice-oriented pedagogy through lectures, interactive discussions, case law analysis, moot court competitions, legal drafting and pleading exercises, project-based learning, court visits, internships and legal aid programmes. Its Internship and Placement Cell works through the year to build industry-academia linkages with judges, advocates, law firms and corporate legal professionals. The seminar is being organised by the Institute's Centre of Skill Development.
About the International Seminar
Geeta Institute of Law, Panipat, Delhi NCR is organising an International Seminar on the theme “Artificial Intelligence for Inclusive Growth: Transforming Law, Management, Commerce and Society”, to be held on 26 November 2026 (Thursday).
The organisers note that Artificial Intelligence is rapidly transforming governance, legal systems, business practices, commerce, education, public administration and social development, and that while it presents opportunities for innovation, efficiency and economic growth, it also raises legal, ethical, regulatory and societal challenges requiring deliberation and collaborative action.
The seminar is intended as an interdisciplinary platform for academicians, researchers, legal professionals, policymakers, industry leaders, practitioners, corporate executives and students from across the globe to exchange research and best practices, and to examine emerging legal frameworks, ethical governance, responsible AI, digital inclusion, data protection and the policy reforms an AI-driven future requires. The stated aspiration is to strengthen academia-industry partnerships and contribute towards equitable, transparent and human-centric AI ecosystems.

Who can participate
The seminar is open to academicians, researchers, legal professionals, policymakers, industry leaders, practitioners, corporate executives and students from India and abroad. The registration fee schedule separates students, research scholars, and academicians and professionals, and provides a distinct fee band for participants from other countries.
A paper may have only one author and one co-author. The brochure states that the inclusion of more than one co-author will result in automatic disqualification. Where a paper is co-authored, both participants have to pay and register separately.
Abstract submission guidelines
The abstract should not exceed 250 words, including keywords (not more than five), and must be accompanied by a cover page stating:

The abstract must be emailed to seminar@geetalawcollege.in with the subject line “SUBMISSION OF ABSTRACT FOR INTERNATIONAL SEMINAR” on or before 15 October 2026. Confirmation of accepted abstracts is communicated on 17 October 2026.
Full paper guidelines
Authors of accepted abstracts submit the full paper on the following terms:
- Minimum 4,000 and maximum 6,000 words, exclusive of footnotes.
- Only one author and one co-author; more than one co-author leads to automatic disqualification.
- Main text in Times New Roman, font size 12, with 1.5 line spacing.
- Footnotes in Times New Roman, font size 10, with single line spacing.
- One-inch margins on all sides.
- Citation style: ILI (Indian Law Institute) rules of footnoting.
The full paper must be emailed to seminar@geetalawcollege.in with the subject line “SUBMISSION OF FULL PAPER FOR INTERNATIONAL SEMINAR” on or before 30 October 2026. All submissions must be the author's original and unpublished work; the brochure states that any amount of plagiarism will attract immediate disqualification. All correspondence is to be sent to the same address.
Registration fee and payment
For Indian participants:
- Students: Rs 800
- Research Scholars: Rs 800
- Academicians and Professionals: Rs 1,500
For participants from other countries:
- Students: USD 20
- Research Scholars: USD 30
- Academicians and Professionals: USD 40
The registration fee includes the seminar kit, tea and lunch, and is not refundable. Payment can be made by RTGS or NEFT, or through online channels such as Paytm and Google Pay, to the Institute's HDFC Bank account at Samalkha, Panipat (Account Holder: Geeta Institute of Law; Account Number 13251450000062; IFSC Code HDFC0001325). International payments use SWIFT Code HDFCINBB in place of the IFSC code.
Participants must pay first and register afterwards, because the registration Google form requires the screenshot or receipt of the payment to be uploaded. The last date of payment of fees and registration is 19 October 2026, as set out in the brochure's table of important dates.
Mode of presentation, transport and accommodation
Presentations will be conducted in hybrid (online and offline) mode. For participants from outside India, the mode of presentation shall be online, through Zoom or Google Meet.
Delegates attending in person are requested to bring one hard copy of the original full paper along with an ID proof. Transport and accommodation will not be provided; the Institute states that it will share the contact numbers of nearby hotels and guest houses.
Certificates and recognition
The brochure carries a section headed “Certificates of Excellence and Best Presentation”. Under it, the organisers state that the three best paper presenters (offline) will be awarded the “Certificate of Best Presentation”. No cash prize is announced.
