The Pittsburgh Tax Review invites proposals for the second issue of its 24th volume, which will focus on state tax policy and economic inequality.
The issue will examine recent state-level ballot initiatives, legislative developments and judicial decisions on economic inequality and tax policy. Topics may include state-level movements to tax high-income earners, billionaires or accumulated wealth, the role of voter-driven initiatives in shaping tax policy, and proposals for state-level tax initiatives to address economic inequality.
Proposals are welcome from all who practice, interact with, or teach tax or tax law. Contributions of between 3,000 and 5,000 words are invited and may take a variety of forms.
Email an abstract outlining the topic, substance and estimated length (in word count) of the proposed contribution to taxrev@pitt.edu. Abstracts should be no longer than 250 words and should be submitted by November 13, 2026.
