RV Law Journal is the flagship law journal of the MKPM RV Institute of Legal Studies (RVILS), Bengaluru, a Bar Council of India approved institution affiliated to Karnataka State Law University and run by the Rashtreeya Sikshana Samithi Trust.
The Journal is a blind peer-reviewed, bi-annual publication carrying ISSN 2583-5041. It provides an academic platform for scholars, practitioners, researchers and students to publish original research and critical analysis on contemporary legal issues relevant to the Indian legal system, and encourages doctrinal, empirical, comparative and interdisciplinary work.
The Editorial Board invites Research Papers, Articles, Case Comments and Book Reviews for Volume 5, Issue 2 (July to December 2026) and forthcoming issues of the Journal.
There is no restriction on the choice of topic, provided the manuscript involves substantive legal analysis and is relevant to the Indian legal system. Submissions must be original, unpublished and not under consideration elsewhere.
Word limits are exclusive of footnotes:

The call for papers prescribes no submission, processing or publication charge. Manuscripts go through a blind peer review before acceptance.
A separate subscription form is available for institutions and individuals who wish to receive printed copies of the Journal (INR 300 per issue, INR 500 for an annual subscription). That subscription fee applies to readers and is not a charge on authors.
