Call for Papers: Sharda Law Review, Sharda School of Law, Sharda University (ISSN 2583-2476, Rolling Submissions)

Sharda School of Law is the law faculty of Sharda University, Greater Noida, situated on the university's campus at Plot No. 32-34, Knowledge Park III. It runs the five-year integrated B.A. LL.B. and B.B.A. LL.B. programmes along with LL.M. and Ph.D. programmes, with the doctoral and master's streams built around research output.

Sharda Law Review (SLR) is a bi-annual blind peer-reviewed journal published by Sharda School of Law, Sharda University. The front matter of the current issue describes it as a double-blind, bi-annual, online peer-reviewed journal. Its first edition appeared in August 2021, and Volume 4, Issue I was published in June 2026.

The journal describes itself as a mirror to the conflicting currents of law and society. It publishes writing in the socio-legal field that explains aspects of the individual in relation to society, polity, economy, culture and psychological well-being, and it covers sub-fields of social science research touching the socio-economic, psychological and political dimensions of contemporary life.

The editorial advisory board carries names including Hon'ble Mr. Justice Dipak Misra, 45th Chief Justice of India, along with sitting and former Vice-Chancellors of RMLNLU Lucknow, National Law University Sonepat and Dharmashastra National Law University, and the Director of the Indian Law Institute, New Delhi.

The journal invites original ideas and creations in any of the following forms:

• Articles
• Case Comments
• Book Reviews

Recent issues carry work on personality rights, whistleblower protection, gender justice, cybercrime and data privacy, artificial intelligence in forensic investigation, wearable health technology and ESG, which gives a fair sense of the range the editors accept.

• Submissions are accepted only in the English language.
• All articles and papers must be accompanied by an abstract of 300 to 500 words. Case Comments and Book Reviews do not need an abstract.
• The abstract must expressly state the originality and usefulness of the idea and must categorically mention the specific contribution of the article beyond the existing literature.
• Co-authorship is permitted for all articles.
• The manuscript must not contain any reference to the identity of the authors, though authors may cite their own previously published work.
• Body text in Times New Roman, font size 12, with 1.5 line spacing.
• References in APA format. There must be no footnoting, only endnotes or references.
• Content taken from online sources must be referred to with the title or caption of the literature along with the names of the authors, following APA style for online database literature.
• The first page must carry the abstract, with the author or authors' names and institutional affiliation below the title of the paper.
• Keywords must appear at the end of the abstract.
• From introduction to conclusion and suggestions, each topic and sub-topic must be properly indexed without underlining, with only the first letter of each word capitalised.
• Except for case names, no content should be in italics.

Send the manuscript in MS Word (.docx), without any formatting such as bordering or page numbering, to journal.law@sharda.ac.in.

The subject line of the email must read "Submission for SLR Volume No.....Issue No......".

The submission must be accompanied by a covering letter carrying the name of the author or authors, email, contact number, institutional affiliations (if any) and academic qualifications.

SLR accepts manuscripts on a rolling basis, so submissions can be sent at any time. The journal states that manuscripts received after a submission deadline are considered for publication in the next edition or issue, which means a late manuscript is carried forward rather than rejected on timing.

The journal is published twice a year, in the sixth and twelfth months of every calendar year. The most recent published edition is Volume 4, Issue I of June 2026.

Every submission goes through the journal's blind peer review. The current issue describes the process as double-blind, and the manuscript itself must be anonymised before it is sent in. A panel of reviewers drawn from the faculty of Sharda School of Law is listed on the journal page alongside the editorial board.

No publication fee, article processing charge or any other payment is stated anywhere in the journal's submission guidelines, its how-to-submit instructions, its terms and conditions or the front matter of the current issue. Authors should confirm the position with the editorial office before sending money to anyone claiming to act for the journal.
