The Centre for Advanced Studies in Cyber Law and AI (CASCA) at Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law (RGNUL), Punjab, invites blog submissions for CASCA Columns on a rolling, year-round basis. If you write about the intersection of law and technology, this is an open platform to get your analysis published and read.
Submissions are accepted from students, academics, and professionals across India. There is no submission fee, and entries are reviewed continuously through the year.
Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab (RGNUL) is an autonomous National Law University established by the RGNUL Act (No. 12 of 2006) of the Punjab Legislature, under the Bar Council of India's second wave of legal-education reforms. In May 2015, RGNUL became the first and only NLU at the time to be accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with an 'A' grade.
The Centre for Advanced Studies in Cyber Law and AI (CASCA) works to bridge the gap between technological advancement and legal frameworks. It is a platform for scholars, practitioners, and students to engage with pressing issues at the intersection of law and technology, with a focus on building effective regulatory policy for the digital era.
Submissions should address technological advancements or aspects of technology law frameworks within any jurisdiction. The scope is deliberately broad, so you can write on cyber law, artificial intelligence, data protection, emerging tech regulation, or any related area, as long as the piece offers a fresh perspective rather than rehashing what is already widely covered.
The call is open to students, academics, and professionals. A maximum of two co-authors is permitted per blog submission.
Submissions are accepted year-round on a rolling basis and go through a double-blind review to keep evaluation impartial. You will be informed of the status of your manuscript within fourteen (14) days; if no response arrives within that period, you may write to CASCA to check on it.
If your piece addresses a recent development, you can request an expedited review by marking the submission as "Expedited" in the file name. Note that due to high submission volumes, the editorial board endeavours to give feedback but may not always be able to.
Free. There is no submission or publication fee.
Prepare your blog as a Word (.docx) file following the guidelines above, then upload it through the official Google Form submission portal. Submissions are open now and reviewed on a rolling basis, so you can apply any time. The deadline shown here is indicative for a rolling call.
