The Migration and Asylum Project (MAP), an initiative of The Ara Trust, invites applications for its Catalyst for Change (CFC) Fellowship 2026-2027. MAP is India's first dedicated law centre for forced migration and displacement, working to make the Rule of Law central to addressing the human rights challenges faced by migrants and refugees. The 24-month Fellowship offers academic, legal and field experience while being part of a movement to build an inclusive and responsive legal protection landscape.
Fellows may be placed in any of MAP's three primary programmes:
The Fellowship offers a monthly stipend of INR 45,000 (subject to applicable TDS), along with a health insurance allowance, casual and sick leave, weekends and public holidays.
The Fellowship is for a period of up to 24 months, with a starting date of 15 August 2026. The placement is on-site at Aizawl, Mizoram.
