How to apply

Applications are accepted online only through the Consortium website. Register with your personal mobile number and email ID, validate the mobile number through the OTP, then log in to fill the form, upload documents and pay the fee. The completed form must be submitted and paid by 11:59 PM on 31 October 2026; incomplete forms are not considered.

Documents to upload (PDF only): a recent front-facing passport-size photograph with a plain background, your signature, and the SC/ST/OBC, PwD or BPL certificate where you apply under that category. The programme (UG/PG), category and BPL field cannot be changed after the form is submitted and paid. If you submit more than one form, only the last one is considered and the earlier fee is not refunded.

Before you apply

  • Read the intake, reservation policy and fee structure of each participating NLU in the Information Brochure and on the NLU websites before filling the form.
  • Ties in marks are broken by higher marks in Legal Reasoning (UG), then higher age, then a computerised draw of lots.
  • The Consortium has issued notifications on its PwD policy for CLAT 2027, the removal of Vellore and Tiruvarur as test centre cities, and changes in reservation categories at WBNUJS and NLU Meghalaya. Check the notifications panel on the portal.
  • Admit cards will be downloadable from the candidate login; the date will be announced on the website.
