Client Consulting Competition at Noorul Islam Centre for Higher Education (NILA), Kanyakumari [Hybrid; 8-23 Jan 2027]

The Client Consulting Competition is an all-India competition hosted by NILA (Noorul Islam Law Academy) at Noorul Islam Centre for Higher Education, Kumaracoil, Thuckalay, Kanyakumari District, Tamil Nadu. The university is accredited by NAAC (Cycle - 2) and declared a deemed-to-be-university under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956. The brochure states prizes worth Rs. 50K+.

A team should comprise two Student Advocates only. The medium of the competition is English.

• 8 January 2027: Inauguration and briefing.
• 9 January 2027: Prelims and quarter finals, held as virtual rounds.
• 23 January 2027: Semi finals and finals, held on campus.

The registration fee is Rs. 3000 for the virtual rounds (prelims and quarter finals on 9 January 2027). A further Rs. 2000 is payable for the semi finals and finals on 23 January 2027, upon qualification. Fees are paid as the brochure describes.

• Provisional registration is done by e-mail to competitions.nila@gmail.com. The deadline is 18 November 2026.
• Final registration is done through the Google Form linked in the brochure. The deadline is 9 December 2026.

• Winner: Rs. 25,000 with trophy, medal and certificate of merit.
• Runner-up: Rs. 15,000 with trophy, medal and certificate of merit.
• Second runner-up: Rs. 10,000 with trophy, medal and certificate of merit.
• Best Counsel: Rs. 5000 with trophy, medal and certificate of merit.
• Best Client: Rs. 2500 with trophy, medal and certificate of merit.

E-certificates are awarded to all preliminary and quarter finals participants, and physical certificates are provided to offline attendees.
