About the Programme

National Law University Delhi, through its Centre for Transnational Commercial Law (CTCL), is accepting applications for the Diploma in Business and Laws for Entrepreneurs and Startups (DBL) 2026-2027 and the associated Certificate Courses.

The programme is built around a practical premise: many startups struggle or fold not for want of ideas, but for want of working knowledge of the legal issues that govern them. It covers the major aspects of operating a startup in India, including how to raise external funding to scale a business, and is pitched at both lawyers and non-lawyers in the startup ecosystem.

Subject coverage spans business law, startup regulation, corporate governance, dispute resolution, and compliance.

Courses Offered and Fee

  • Diploma in Business and Laws for Entrepreneurs and Startups (DBL) - Duration: 1 Year | Fee: Rs 70,000
  • Certificate in Contracts, Business Law and Basics of Entrepreneurship (CBLE) - Duration: 2 Months | Fee: Rs 15,000
