The Collection critically examines the evolving relationship between contemporary armed conflicts, geopolitical competition, and emerging models of global governance in a rapidly shifting multipolar order. It invites interdisciplinary and comparative contributions exploring how strategic rivalry is reshaping international law, collective security frameworks, humanitarian protection mechanisms, conflict-resolution processes, multilateral institutions, maritime governance, cyber governance, and global peace and security architectures.

A discounted article-processing charge of USD 1440 / EUR 1140 / GBP 990 applies to articles accepted before 31 December 2026; the standard charge thereafter is USD 2090 / EUR 1790 / GBP 1490. APC waivers and discounts may be available per Springer Nature's open-access policy.
