The role

As Executive (Data Privacy and Ethics), you will help clients navigate data privacy and protection requirements, develop privacy frameworks and put ethical data governance into practice. Your work will span compliance, risk assessment, training and advisory assignments. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting clients in complying with data privacy laws and regulations, including GDPR, CCPA and other regional data protection frameworks.
  • Supporting the development and implementation of privacy programmes, including privacy policies, consent mechanisms, data subject rights processes and data breach response plans.
  • Conducting Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) to identify privacy risks and recommend mitigation measures.
  • Assisting with data mapping, data inventory management and data classification exercises.
  • Advising on ethical considerations relating to data collection, use, storage and sharing.
  • Developing and delivering privacy and ethics awareness and training programmes.
  • Promoting privacy-by-design principles and integrating privacy controls into technologies and processes.
  • Managing data subject requests, including access, rectification, erasure and restriction requests.
  • Monitoring developments in privacy and data protection laws and advising clients on best practices.
  • Building and maintaining client relationships while providing guidance on privacy and ethics matters.
