Chanakya National Law University (CNLU), Patna, a premier institution of legal education established by Act No. XXIV of 2006, invites applications for direct recruitment to teaching positions under Rolling Advertisement No. 43/2026-27(Appt.) dated 04.07.2026.
The University is recruiting for the post of Professor (Law), Associate Professor (Law) and Assistant Professor (Law), across both non-specialised and specialised posts. Non-specialised vacancies are: 03 Professor, 06 Associate Professor and 09 Assistant Professor. Specialised posts include areas such as Corporate Law, Taxation Law, Intellectual Property Rights, Cyber Security/Cyber Law/Cyber Forensics, International Trade Law, Family Law, Law and Technology, ADR, Public Law and Private Law, along with dedicated Research positions at each level.
Essential qualifications, experience and other eligibility conditions shall be as per the UGC Regulations, 2018 (as amended from time to time) and as adopted by Chanakya National Law University, Patna. Applicants must be citizens of India. Preference will be given to candidates holding a foreign degree or with experience of teaching at National Law Universities. The age of superannuation is 65 years for all three posts.

Application fee is Rs 1,000 for general applicants and Rs 250 for SC/ST applicants (non-refundable), payable by Bank Draft in favour of "Registrar, Chanakya National Law University, Patna" (payable at Patna) or through RTGS. Applicants applying for more than one position must submit a separate application form and fee for each post. Candidates who had already applied under Advt. No. 14/2023-24 or 25/2025-26 for the same position (except Public International Law) need not reapply and may instead submit an updated CV with self-attested supporting documents.
