National Law University, Jodhpur, in association with the Association of Indian Law Libraries, is organising a two-day International Conference on Digital Transformation: Integrating AI for Next Generation Libraries (ICDT 2026) on 25 and 26 September 2026 at the NLUJ Auditorium, Jodhpur.
Authors are invited to submit full-length papers for consideration in the conference proceedings. The official conference website lists the last date to submit a paper as 31 July 2026 and the last date for registration as 30 August 2026.
National Law University Jodhpur (NLUJ) is one of India's leading law schools, established in 1999 at Jodhpur, Rajasthan. It offers the five-year integrated B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) and B.B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) programmes, one-year LL.M. programmes in Corporate Laws, IPR Laws and Trade Laws, an MBA, and Ph.D. programmes.
The conference is organised together with the Association of Indian Law Libraries, whose organising team for ICDT 2026 draws law librarians from NLU Delhi, NCERT, TNDALU Chennai and DSNLU. The joint organising secretaries come from NLU Jodhpur, NLIU Bhopal, RMLNLU Prayagraj, CNLU Patna and Amity University Mumbai.
Although the conference is framed around libraries, several of its themes sit squarely in law and policy, and the entire organising and advisory structure is drawn from law schools and law libraries. Law students, research scholars and academics can submit on the legal sub-themes listed below.
The stated objectives of the conference are to explore the impact of AI on library transformation, to discuss ethical, legal and policy implications, to promote AI-driven innovation in libraries, to discuss the challenges and opportunities of AI integration in academic and research libraries, and to share best practices and case studies.
The registration fee does not include accommodation charges. Registration is confirmed only after full payment, and students and scholars must produce a valid ID. The fee is paid through the NLU Jodhpur ERP payments portal.
Papers are submitted through the official ICDT 2026 paper submission Google Form, and delegates register through the separate registration form, both linked from the conference website. The fee is paid via the NLU Jodhpur other-payments portal. All three links are listed under Important Links below.
Queries on the conference and on publication go to icdtjodhpur2026@nlujodhpur.ac.in, and registration queries go to registration.icdt2026@nlujodhpur.ac.in.
The conference brochure hosted on the NLU Jodhpur website still carries the original timeline of submission by 30 June 2026 and acceptance by 20 July 2026.
