The Department of Labour Law, Saveetha School of Law, SIMATS, Chennai is organising the International Conference on Roots, Rights & Recognition: Inclusivity of Transgender in Indian Society on 21 July 2026 (9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.) at the New Moot Court Hall, Saveetha School of Law. The conference brings together scholars and practitioners to examine the legal, social and policy dimensions of transgender rights and inclusion in India, with a focus on interdisciplinary and reform-oriented research.
