The International Conference on Sports Law and Policy is convened by the University of Lausanne (UNIL) LL.M. in International Business Law and the Centre de droit commercial (CEDIDAC), together with Seton Hall University School of Law in the United States. The conference brings together academics, practitioners and policymakers to examine current questions in sports law and policy.
The conference is scheduled for 12 March 2027.
The organisers invite abstracts on topics of sports law and policy, including governance of sports bodies, dispute resolution and arbitration, regulation, integrity, commercial and business-law dimensions of sport, and comparative and international perspectives.
Selected papers will be published in a peer-reviewed volume in the University of Lausanne series with Brill (International and Comparative Business Law and Public Policy).
Academics, researchers, practitioners and postgraduate scholars working on sports law and policy are welcome to submit abstracts.
Abstracts must be submitted by email to Dr. Shaheeza Lalani at shaheeza.lalani@unil.ch by the abstract submission deadline. Please consult the official flyer for formatting and length requirements.
