The International Journal on Consumer Law and Practice (IJCLP) (ISSN 2347-2731) is an annual, open-access, blind peer-reviewed law journal published by the National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bengaluru, under the aegis of the Chair on Consumer Law and Practice. Founded in 2013, it provides a scholarly forum for discussion on national and international best practices in consumer protection law. The journal is fully open access and levies no fee on authors at any stage.
IJCLP welcomes original, unpublished scholarship on all aspects of consumer law and policy, including consumer welfare legislation and its implementation, consumer rights in the digital era, e-commerce and platform regulation, product liability, dispute resolution and consumer fora, financial-services and telecom consumer protection, data protection as it affects consumers, and comparative and international consumer-protection frameworks.
Submissions are invited from academicians, researchers, legal practitioners, policymakers, and students of law and allied fields. Both Indian and international contributors are welcome.
There is no Article Processing Charge (APC), submission fee, or publication fee. IJCLP is genuinely open access and free for authors, which is a significant advantage for Indian scholars and students without research funding.
IJCLP accepts submissions on a rolling basis year-round. Manuscripts are submitted electronically via the official journal portal at NLSIU's institutional repository. For volume-specific calls and queries, write to the editorial team at ijclp@nls.ac.in.
