About the Summit

Yuvak Biradari (Bharat), a national award-winning social, educational, cultural, and youth movement completing over 51 years of service, is organising the Jai Jagat Ellora Summit 2026 in collaboration with its host partner, Maharashtra National Law University, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (MNLU-CS), along with other partner organisations.

Set near the globally renowned Ellora Caves, the 3-day summit will bring together young people from across India to engage with policy makers, thinkers, artists, and eminent voices from the social and educational spheres, alongside a call for research papers on themes connected to the vision of 'Jai Jagat' (Victory to the World).

MNLU-CS is a national law university established under Act No. VI of 2014 by the Maharashtra State Legislature, with the Chief Justice of India (or nominee) as Chancellor and the Chief Justice of the Bombay High Court as Pro-Chancellor.

Themes of the Summit

Submissions are invited on any topic aligned with the broader vision of 'Jai Jagat'. Indicative themes include:

  • World Peace (youth in peacebuilding, social media as a tool for peace/propaganda, democratic accountability)
  • Technology, Crime and Gender Justice (cyber violence against women, AI bias and gender discrimination)
  • CSR for a Better World (CSR and unemployment, CSR and climate action, ESG investing)
  • Environmental Conservation (traditional water conservation, climate anxiety among youth)
  • Self-Reliant Rural India (Gram Swaraj, women-led SHGs, Startup India in rural markets, Directive Principles of State Policy)
  • Human Values (empathy in the digital age, lessons from Indian saints, education reform)
  • Animal Rights, Ecological Balance and Sustainable Coexistence (animal cruelty law, biodiversity conservation, Ahimsa)
  • Healthy Living (mental health, Ayushman Bharat, universal healthcare as a fundamental right)
  • Importance of Constitutionalism (democratic governance, technology vs constitutional rights, SDGs)

These themes are indicative; submissions on any topic aligned with the broader vision of Jai Jagat are welcome.

Eligibility

  • Open to participants aged 15-35 years.
  • Students, academicians, and professionals may participate.
  • Cross-institutional teams are permitted.
  • Co-authorship is allowed, up to a maximum of two co-authors in addition to the main author.

Submission Guidelines

Abstracts of up to 400 words must be submitted in English, Hindi, or Marathi on any of the listed themes, following one consistent citation style (APA, Bluebook, or MLA). Abstracts are to be submitted via the official Google Form by 20 July 2026, 11:59 PM.

  • Participants opting to present a research paper must submit their abstract via the form; payment is due only after receiving an acceptance communication from the Organising Committee via email.
  • Participants opting for attendance without a research paper must first complete the provisional registration form; payment is due only after confirmation from the Organising Committee.
  • The top 25 selected research papers will be considered for publication in leading journals, edited books, conference publications, and allied academic platforms associated with the summit (publishing partners include the Indian Chamber of Commerce for Affirmative Action, LearnNova, and others, with ISBN/ISSN).

Participation Fee and Prizes

Abstract submission itself is free. Three modes of participation are available for the summit (8-10 August 2026):

  • 3-Day Residential (with or without paper presentation): Rs. 3,000 - includes accommodation, meals, local travel, workshop components, and sightseeing.
  • 3-Day Non-Residential (with or without paper presentation): Rs. 1,500 - includes meals and workshop components.
  • Online Only (research paper, 8-9 August, virtual mode): Rs. 500.

Based on merit of research papers and participation in discussions/interviews, the top 10 participants will be awarded prizes plus internship opportunities:

  • First Prize: Rs. 25,000
  • Second Prize: Rs. 15,000
  • Third Prize: Rs. 10,000
  • Seven Consolation Prizes: Rs. 7,000 each

Accommodation will be provided at the PACE Center in Nandrabad, near the Ellora Caves.
