About the journal

The Journal of Global Research and Analysis (JGRA), ISSN 2278-6775, is a peer-reviewed bi-annual journal that aims to promote original and scholarly research. It is published by the Geeta Institute of Law (GIL), Panipat, under the aegis of K. R. Education Society, Panipat. JGRA invites submissions for Volume 15, Issue 2 (December 2026), a Special Edition.

Theme: Beyond Traditional Criminality

The Special Edition is titled "Beyond Traditional Criminality: New Crimes, New Technologies and New Forms of Criminal Responsibility". Artificial intelligence, deepfakes, cyber technologies, cryptocurrencies and other emerging technologies have raised complex questions of attribution, mens rea, liability and enforcement. The edition seeks to explore emerging forms of criminality and to examine how criminal law can respond to technologically driven offences while safeguarding constitutional rights, human dignity and the principles of justice. Contributions are invited that critically examine contemporary developments, emerging legal challenges and the future directions of criminal law and criminal justice.
