The Moot Court Society of Apex School of Law, Apex University, Jaipur, in collaboration with the District Legal Services Authority, Jaipur (District), invites you to Jus Novum – AU Nationwide Law Fest, 2026. "Jus Novum" means "New Law", and the fest is built around the idea that law is not just a profession but an instrument for social transformation, justice and human dignity.
This is a national-level, hybrid law fest spanning 11 competitions. While traditional litigation forms its foundation, the heart of Jus Novum lies in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) and clinical legal skills – the flagship contests are Mediation, Client Counselling and Arbitration. Around these sit a wide range of one-day and online competitions, with a total prize pool of up to INR 1.5 Lakh.
Apex University, Jaipur is an institution of higher education backed by the Sanjay Shiksha Samiti (established 1965). Apex School of Law offers Ph.D., LL.M. (two-year), LL.B. (three-year) and B.A. LL.B. (five-year integrated) programmes, and integrates classroom learning with moot courts, legal aid, mock trials, seminars and workshops.
The Moot Court Society of Apex School of Law is the institution's central academic body for advocacy and moot training, and the organiser of this fest. The event is held in collaboration with the District Legal Services Authority, Jaipur (District), constituted under the Legal Services Authorities Act, 1987.

Registration fees, eligibility and rules vary for each event, and each registration form carries its own payment QR code. You should make payment only through the QR code in the registration form of the competition you are entering.

Note: accommodation charges are separate and are not included in the registration fee. Details on accommodation are shared with teams after the Hybrid Rounds conclude.

The Jus Novum Rolling Trophy is a permanent running trophy that resides at Apex University, with the winning institution's name engraved on it each year. Partner perks include journal publication slots (Vidhishala Foundation), merit-based online internships, certificate-course access and discounts from collaborators such as Law Foyer, Jus Corpus, Legal Vidhiya, Record of Law and The Lawscape.
