JUSTITIA 2026: 6th Annual Lex Fiesta at Gitarattan International Business School, Delhi [8-11 October 2026; Seven Competitions]

Gitarattan International Business School (GIBS), established in 2004, is affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), Delhi, and approved by AICTE and the Bar Council of India. It is graded 'A' by NAAC (3rd cycle).

Its Centre for Legal Studies (CLS), set up in 2016, offers the 5-year BA LL.B. (Hons.) and BBA LL.B. (Hons.), the 3-year LL.B. and the LL.M. JUSTITIA is organised by Courtroom, the Law Society of CLS, which runs the centre's moot courts, debates, mediation, youth parliaments and client counselling exercises.

JUSTITIA is the annual national Lex Fiesta of CLS, GIBS. The 6th edition runs over four days, from 8 October (Thursday) to 11 October 2026 (Sunday), on the GIBS campus in Rohini, Delhi, with seven national-level competitions. The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) is named as a partner in the official brochure.

Earlier editions have run since 2021. The 2025 edition was inaugurated by Justice N. Kotiswar Singh of the Supreme Court of India and Prof. (Dr.) V. K. Ahuja, Director, Indian Law Institute.

• Clash of Minds (Debate): 8 and 9 October. Teams of 2.
• Resolva Con (Mediation): 8 and 9 October. Teams of 3 (client, counsel and mediator).
• Legal Divine (Law Olympiad): 9 October. Individual entry.
• Client Connect (Client Counselling): 9 October. Teams of 2.
• Forensic Fanatics (Crime Scene Investigation): 9 October. Teams of 2.
• The Parliament Pulse (Youth Parliament): 10 and 11 October. Individual entry.
• Legal Battle Royale (Moot Court): 10 and 11 October. Registration for the moot court closed on 23 September 2026.

• Debate, mediation, client counselling, crime scene investigation and moot court: students of a full-time 3-year or 5-year LL.B. programme at a university or institution recognised by the Bar Council of India.
• Law Olympiad: students of a 3-year or 5-year LL.B. or an LL.M. programme at a BCI-recognised institution.
• Youth Parliament: students from anywhere in India, law or non-law.

Only one team per college may enter the mediation, client counselling, debate and moot court competitions, and those entries need an authorisation letter from the college. Youth Parliament and Law Olympiad accept multiple entries from one college with no authorisation letter.

• The Parliament Pulse (Youth Parliament): Rs 950 per participant
• Client Connect (Client Counselling): Rs 1,800 per team
• Legal Battle Royale (Moot Court): Rs 1,500 for the memorial round, Rs 2,500 for the preliminary rounds (32 shortlisted teams), Rs 4,000 in total (registration closed)

A package of Rs 8,500 covers an institution registering for all the events. Fees are non-refundable.

Every competition carries cash prizes, trophies and certificates of merit, and every participant receives a certificate of participation. The itemised awards are listed below under Prizes, following the rules in the official brochure.

The fest poster shows higher totals for two events than the itemised rules add up to: Rs 22,000 for the debate (rules: Rs 15,000) and Rs 17,500 for crime scene investigation (rules: Rs 10,000). Check with the organisers if this matters to you.

1. Open the registration link and choose your event.
2. Fill in the participant details and pay the fee. Take a screenshot once the payment is complete.
3. Email the payment screenshot, the authorisation letter (where required), the team details form and the travel form (if travelling from outside Delhi) to that event's email address, listed under Contact.

For team events, one member can register on behalf of the team. Carry a hard copy of the registration form to the fest.

The venue is a two-minute walk from Rohini East metro station (Red Line). Participants from outside Delhi should share their travel plan with the event email 15 days before the event. Travel and accommodation are at the participants' own cost. The brochure lists nearby hotels in Rohini and Pitampura for reference only.
