The School offers integrated and standalone law programmes at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, taught through a curriculum that blends theory with practical, courtroom-ready training.

Programmes on offer

The School of Law conducts the following programmes, all approved by the Bar Council of India:

  • BA LLB (Hons.) – five-year integrated undergraduate degree
  • BBA LLB (Hons.) – five-year integrated undergraduate degree
  • LLB – three-year bachelor of law programme
  • LLM – available in one-year and two-year options, focused on advanced legal research and specialisation

Who can apply (eligibility)

  • BA LLB (Hons.) / BBA LLB (Hons.): 10+2 with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognised board. Candidates with CA, CMA or CS qualifications (50% or higher) are also eligible.
  • LLB (3-year): a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks.
  • LLM (1-year & 2-year): an LLB or equivalent 3-year or 5-year law degree with at least 50% marks from a recognised university.

Fees & scholarships

Tuition is charged as per the programme fee structure published by the university. MRU conducts the Manav Rachna National Aptitude Test (MRNAT), a national scholarship-cum-screening test offering scholarships of up to 100%. Merit-based, sports-based and alumni scholarships are also available. For exact figures, refer to the official admissions portal.

Admission process & timeline

Admission follows a four-step process:

  1. Complete the online application and submit the required documents.
  2. Submit your entrance and qualifying exam scores.
  3. Attend the Vision & Values Round (a personal interview).
  4. Receive your admission offer and secure your seat.

Key dates published on the official portal: the MRNAT exam is scheduled for 25-27 April 2026, and applicants with strong CUET scores can use the CUET conversion route up to 2 July 2026.
